Training for members/friends and officers of local church women's groups on Jan. 28 in Salinas (deadline Jan. 18) and Feb. 4 in San Mateo (deadline Jan. 25). The annual District Women's Spiritual Retreat March 16–18 at Mission Springs near Scotts Valley. (Feb. 18 deadline.) Theme: "Everything has a crack in it; that's how the Light gets in."
